About the Event
Join instructor and Peer Support Foundation President Jeremy Sprague for a 3-day Peer Support training. Â Â
The 21-hour Basic Peer Support training will discuss the fundamental aspects of first responder psychology, equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills to foster a supportive team environment. The curriculum encompasses an exploration of first responder wellness, stress reactions, critical incident responses, and proactive strategies for building resiliency. Participants will also learn the strategic
planning process and gain insights into identifying and addressing suicidal ideation. Through a combination of theory and practical training, this course aims to empower individuals to contribute positively to the well-being of their peers.
